To me the questions isn't why the MCSD is asking for this area but why the residents of Middletown aren't mad at the state school board for not allowing it! Let's look at the facts! The city of Middletown is developing this area with both income tax and real estate tax dollars that are coming from 99.9% of their residents who reside in the Middletown City School District, but all benefits from increased real estate values are going to the Franklin schools!
