> It falls in the lap of Democrats and the media
> seems to have lost their ability to do any
> 'investigative' reporting. You can follow the
> trail all the way back to 1977 under Carter. Funny
> thing is folks like Barney Frank always play the
> race card every time Republicans tried to get the
> regulations in place. As a matter of fact Mr.
> Frank was playing the race card this Monday. It is
> getting insane.
>
> As far as the media ignoring any bad press
> concerning Obama this has been going on his entire
> political career. This guy is waaaaaaaay dirty. In
> the Hamilton Journal there have been attacks on
> McCain over the Keating 5. Funny thing is McCain
> has been found 100% NOT guilty concerning this.
>
> By the way will Obama ever release his school
> records, health records, and a list of donars?
> McCain has done ALL of this. Another news story

Matt Drudge of the Drudge Report would not accept these two ads for placement on his website, saying through a spokesman they were "too controversial." All they did was draw readers to America's Survival reports on communist networks in Hawaii and Chicago that influenced Barack Obama. The face in the ad is that of Frank Marshall Davis, identified member of the Communist Party USA and mentor for a young Obama in Hawaii. Read the well-documented reports for yourself and decide if they are "too controversial." Why is Drudge, said by some to be the world's most powerful journalist, suppressing information about the reports?

From 1995 to 2002 Todd Palin, Sarah Palin's husband was a member of the extremely violent anti-american organization called the Alaskan Independence Party.(AIP)AIP's charter commits the party "to the ultimate independence of Alaska," from the United States which it refers to as "the colonial bureaucracy in Washington." It proclaims Alaska's 1959 induction as a state "as illegal and in violation of the United Nations charter and international law." The members of this treasonous organization want to break our country into bits and walk away with Alaska's rich federal oil fields and one-fifth of America's land base.
Its founder the late Joe Vogler's words can be found on their website, here are a few quotes: "I'm an Alaskan, not an American," "I've got no use for America or her damned institutions." "The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government." "I won't be buried under their damned flag...when Alaska is an independent nation they can bring my bones home." Sarah Palin has never denounced Vogler or his disgusting anti-Americanism.
While keeping her Republican registration, Sarah Palin attended the AIP's 1994 convention where the party called for a draft constitution to secede from the United States and create an independent nation of Alaska. The McCain Campaign has reluctantly acknowledged that she also attended AIP's 2000 Convention. She must have enjoyed herself because she gave a keynote address at the AIP's 2006 convention and she recorded a video greeting for this year's 2008 convention.
So to put it in perspective, Barrack Obama was 8 when Ayers was with the Weatherman, Obama has called the group and Ayers's involvement with the group "detestable." Tod Palin was a member of AIP up until 2002 and Sarah Palin, gave a keynote speech for them in 2008. Neither of the Palin's have ever denounced the AIP and or it's extreme Anti-American views. So who exactly is palling around with terrorists?

Your post is interesting, tomcollins-neo. As a former Union Rep for 12 years and a life long Democrat, and in management for 8 years, I can tell you that most unions are for the company of the workers they represent because everyone benefits from a successful company, union workers and management. The workers need to be treated fairly and with respect, which some management refuses to do, therefore the need for a union is important to give balance to the entire company structure. Success of a company comes from a concert between union employees and management and, sadly, most companies have not gotten that message. I have been on both sides of the fence and find it sad that America believes the lies perpetrated by corporations that unions are out to ruin them. There are a few bad unions, but today the entire structure of our economy and the lack of decent jobs is due, in part, to the decisions of management and not to the unions.

As an example, there is a schoolbook publishing company in Dayton that is anti-union and pays their college degree entry level people $8.50 per hour. Then when they deem it necessary, they fire or lay them off as their salaries gradually increase over the years and hire new employees at a lower rate. Does this seem fair to you?? Without a union, companies are free to behave as they want by rewarding incompetence, mediocrity and mis-management all the while ridding themselves of talent and experienced employees to increase their bottom line. So this is what America gets and we just need to try to live with it. Let Sarah Palin and John McCain point their fingers and spout about the evil things the Democrats have done to our country, but I know the truth and have lived it. I thank God I am retired and not in the work force any more. But that doesn't make me safe either!

As a life long Republican voter, I have used my voice and my vote to help in making the current situation in this country, and I do have to say, I’m not very happy with it.
I used to argue the fate of unions with my grandpa, how they were stopping business from growing and making unjust rules that cost money, and hurting America as a world leader in the process. “Republicans won’t shortchange us for the rich, I’d say, if only one day Republicans had full control, and they could do what they want”…..

But today, when Republicans HAVE had the chance of total control, when unions are all but gone, and a “good job” is a shift manager at a fast food place, with few if any benefits by the way, I ask myself,

is THIS the place I want for my kids?

NO, I say.

I think I will count this time, with my vote, and my money, I am working to change our direction. The republicans had that chance I argued for so long ago, now the democrats should get to try…. We owe it to our kids to try.....

I am waiting for another school tax that is coming up in Trotwood in November.Anyone that votes for a school tax levy is a foolish. Where is the accounting and breakdown of the monies already taken in? The schools think the home owners have an unlimited access to money!

Also most major cities in the country are run by democrats. Look at New York,Detroit,LA.,New Orleans..All are in financial trouble. Detroit doesn't even have a grocery store chain in the city limits. Crime and taxes make it a too harsh of an enviroment to do business in.

Yet right here in Ohio the cities keep going down the same path. Trotwwod has taxes so high that the James gruop on Olive rd must pay higher taxes than they thought in the start. Business are leaving at an alarming rate and what happened to the "new mall"that was to go up..I don't think so...We the people need to throw out all the government leaders and start over!

The governemnt created this mess. They took our economy and chose to use it to finance 'social engeneering'. When you look at what they forced upon our banks it will make you sick. 12% of new home loans had to be given to people who made under $32,000 a year. 50% of new loans had to go to people who made less than $60,000 a year. That simply is VERY bad business.

It falls in the lap of Democrats and the media seems to have lost their ability to do any 'investigative' reporting. You can follow the trail all the way back to 1977 under Carter. Funny thing is folks like Barney Frank always play the race card every time Republicans tried to get the regulations in place. As a matter of fact Mr. Frank was playing the race card this Monday. It is getting insane.

As far as the media ignoring any bad press concerning Obama this has been going on his entire political career. This guy is waaaaaaaay dirty. In the Hamilton Journal there have been attacks on McCain over the Keating 5. Funny thing is McCain has been found 100% NOT guilty concerning this.

By the way will Obama ever release his school records, health records, and a list of donars? McCain has done ALL of this. Another news story NOT covered by the media. It's funny, had the media treated Obama like everyone else and reported his bad junk Hillary would have won that race.

I have about 5 cats & 4 kittens that choose to use my son's swingset as a litter box. They are also digging up my trees & chasing squirrels in our yard. They are coming from a house a couple of blocks over that have at least 10 cats in their yard. The city can do nothing about this. Dogs require a license why is this not the same for cats? I choose not to have pets due to my children, so why should I be inconvenienced due to someone else's pet? I can buy a "trap" at my own expense & take them to a shelter is what I was told. Any one else have this problem? If so what are your suggestions??

There is a 10 minute video that keeps getting removed from You Tube that shows the timeline and the Democrats major complicity in the financial fiasco we're in now. However, I found this one, that shows just a smidgin' of the truth. You won't ever see this on MSNBC,CNN,ABC,CBS.ABC or Oprah :) The voters in Dayton and Ohio are being grossly misinformed.
